Re: Partitioned Info Cube error after migrating to BW on HANA

Hi Ravinder,

 

Infocube partitioning is not necessary when your BW is running on HANA.

Therefore, you can use the cube as it is and there wont be problem in query performance since the BW system is on HANA. Also, this has no impact on tha transformation/transfer rules etc.

 

But definitely there's an improvement in performance when you use a HANA optmized Infocube since the middle dimension tables are removed.

 

Therefore, continue to use the cubes without these partitions but if you need to create new partitions, you need to delete all data from the cube and then partition it. But it's not going to make a quite a difference in the performance level.
