We are now constructing a version of SAP Solution Manager 7.2 in SAP CAL based on the currently available appliance for content activation.
This new appliance will be updated to SAP HANA 11 patch level and SAP Solution Manager support package 02, include the SAP S/4HANA on-premise solution packages, and the have the content activation process completed. Planned availability will be mid-April 2016.
This solution will allow for fast evaluation of the S/4HANA solution package content in the new solution documentation UI of 7.2. It would also be possible to create a separate S/4HANA system in SAP CAL and connect as a managed system.
As soon as this new appliance is released, we plan to update the current Solution Manager 7.2 for content activation evaluation with HANA 11 and Solution Manager 7.2 support package 02, and release as an updated version.
