Hi Suresh,

 

I understand from your question, that you are trying to create the report on the system generated HANA View for Composite Provider in HANA Modeler.

 

If yes, then the Errors which you mentioned

1. Error executing the query

2. Error: SAP DBTech JDBC: [258]: insufficient privilege

 

is valid if you try to report on the system generated HANA View which were created from the other users.

 

Explanation: If User A creates composite provider with HANA View flag enabled, it creates calculation view in system-local package with User A. And then data preview or the reporting can be done on the system generated calc view only with User A. If User B tries to report on the calc view, then it throws an error since User B will not have enough privileges.

If User B wants to report on the system generated Calc view created by User A, then User B need to ask the system admin or basis team to assign the roles or privileges to his User.
