I am trying to recommend some tool/application that can be used to capture time spent by employees on a specific activity and then be able to report on it.
I am trying to stay away from MS Access due to the custom development effort and support needed. The requirement is to have 3 dropdown lists with the 2nd and 3rd one being a cascading drop downs whose selections are dependent on earlier selected data in the 1st and 2nd dropdown respectively.
An example would be Country, State and city where the State values are not populated unless Country is selected and same thing with the City.
The data can be captured using MS SQL server database and I can then create a universe on top for reporting purposes in Webi.
Any idea on how can I achieve this requirement?
Does Webi have the capability to enter data?
