DSO key date not working

Hi all,

When displaying the data of 0PA_DS04 which is employee education in BW, I specify a Key Date for time dependent characteristics but the records are shown ignoring the date I entered.

e.g

Employee X

From 19/3/2001  to 19/3/2005  - B.S.

From 6/7/2006 - 5/7/2008 - M.S.

WHen I enter 1/1/2006 , only the first record should be displayed but the two of them are being returned. So what's the use of this fke
