An alternative approach could be using Enhancement LEINS001. In my opinion it will result in a more reliable delta mechanism since the Enhancement is called at an earlier point-in-time.
Disadvantage of extraction enhancement (i.e. Enhancement RSAP0001 or BAdI RSU5_SAPI_BADI) is that it's called at the moment of extraction. Any delta record in the delta queue will be processed but it won't trigger any delta.
